Over the past 16 years, we have helped dozens of clients with numerous aspects of the information storage industry. To help you understand our capabilities better, here are some of the assignments we have undertaken:

• we have carried out several market research projects for the UK government and advised them on optimum strategies for attracting, nurturing and growing storage activity in the UK
• we have undertaken research for several Inward Investment Agencies and Industrial Development Boards in order to advise them on opportunities for attracting storage and other IT-related businesses into their regions
• we travelled to Singapore to acquire a UK company which specialised in storage R&D from its Taiwanese owner on behalf of a French developer of disk drives and accessories
• we assisted a regional development agency with due diligence on the engineering and manufacturing capabilities of a major disk drive manufacturer which had applied for grants
• we acted in the role of fact and expert witness in patent litigation for many of the major US and Asian disk and disk drive manufacturers
• we helped several UK and European storage companies get major grants for R&D projects from the European Union's Framework Programmes, managing the consortium formation, proposal preparation, contract negotiation and the projects themselves in many cases
• we attended ECMA meetings and drafted new standards documents on behalf of a French removable storage manufacturer wishing to create a new standard
• we have ghost-written several articles for storage companies seeking publicity for their new technical and manufacturing developments
• we provided the due diligence required by the London Stock Market for a UK storage company seeking an IPO
• we provided a strategic market analysis on a competitor for a storage system manufacturer in The Republic of Ireland
• we assisted a French cartridge manufacturer in its successful opposition to an injunction brought by a rival in a matter involving aspects of Zip disk technology
• we have sourced and acquired manufacturing and test equipment for several disk, head and drive companies
• we handled executive recruitment for a disk drive manufacturer setting up a new R&D facility in the UK
• we travelled to Penang to undertake financial, technical and manufacturing due diligence for a European disk drive manufacturer during its acquisition of a competitor
• we acted as strategic and technical advisors to a UK publishing company when it launched a new storage publication
